Now, there are no many things I know about but having been forced to study music for 5 years I can tell you that they are doing that horribly wrong, please at least tell me they don't record their actual music (as opposed to vocals) through the same mic?
It just hurts. I bet they also did it in a shitty uninsulated and reverberating school music studio/classroom
